System scope
- Checks mainland Chinese terminology, punctuation, character forms, translationese, and context-dependent Taiwan Traditional Chinese usage.
- Provides a CLI, Chrome extension, and Discord bot, supporting safe deterministic fixes and optional Gemini judgment.
- Protects Markdown, YAML, code blocks, URLs, paths, mentions, and code spans so automatic fixes do not damage technical content.
Contributions and outcomes
- Built on sysprog21/zhtw-mcp while retaining its original ruleset and license, removed the MCP-only transport, and reorganized it into a reusable Rust CoreEngine.
- Built CLI, Chrome extension, and Discord adapters that share the same analysis and correction core.
- Gemini may only choose among the ruleset's existing candidates for already-detected issues; fixes are rescanned for verification, so arbitrary model output never edits content directly.
- Implemented Discord server/channel scope controls, custom terminology, and capitalization rules.
